Would it be wrong of me to assume she went to this dance stag? Does stag apply if you are a girl? Does anyone even use the term "stag" anymore? Is this really a girl? Hell if I know.

TMI Tuesday

1. Is there a TV show you HAVE to watch? If so, what is it?

Not really, I am not one of those people that's hooked on "Lost" or "24" or any of those, I've never even seen them. But, during hockey season, unless there is a serious emergency, I do not miss a single Chicago Blackhawks game on TV. I also try and catch every Chicago White Sox game I can, but there are a lot more of those in a season. Back when "The Sopranos" were on, that was the most I have ever been into a show, I was a rabid fan. On Sunday nights I parked in front of the TV, turned off all the lights and turned off my phone, I never missed a single episode. Tony Soprano and I have more than a few similarities.


2. What is you favorite drink if you are going to drink more than one?

When I drink, I drink like a man, and nothing trendy or in vogue, LOL. Headaches? Never had 'em. St. Louis, MO baby! I am also quite partial to Pepsi, which has done nothing for my girlish figure.

3. How long do you carry guilt around with you?

A very long time. I can be quite the martyr and I am certainly my own harshest critic.

4. Where is or would be your number one romantic get away spot?

Shut up Gina! LOL. I guess I am not the romantic that my wife would hope me to be but one of these days I'll take her to that little town in Michigan that I like so much.

5. Have you ever seen a counselor?

Yes, I actually have. Shocking huh? I went and saw a psychologist two times back in '95 when I was embroiled in a sticky situation which of course involved sex, cheating, the workplace, pregnancy, intrigue, etc.

Bonus (as in optional): Last summer the Archives of Sexual Behavior the 237 reasons people have sex and the Top 50 Reasons Men and Women Have Sex. What are your top 5 reasons?

There are reasons? Seriously, I've always thought it was just a primordial instinct and need and I didn't bother trying to deny it, LOL. I guess if you think about it there are reasons. The passion, the closeness, I guess it does feel pretty good, the control and the like. Then again, I've always lived by the credo, "It's not the kill, it's the thrill of the chase."

Check-Out Time II

Just sitting around riding herd here at The LoveTel on Saturday morning I decided while playing around with my phone to maybe rip off a new "Check-Out Time". These obviously didn't go so well. I was definitely looking pretty beat that morning and I have no idea what the deal is with my hair, on my head or on my face.

Sunday Borning!

Martha Quinn, one of the original MTV VJs, turns 49 years old today. These days she can be found over on Sirius radio hosting a one hour 80's music show from her home in Malibu, CA. In looking at some of the recent pics of her such as the one below, she seems to be aging quite well I say.

Ahh, the good ole days of MTV, which is the generation I came from. Such wonder and awe we watched with. Remember when you would just sit there and watch for hours and hours, basically until they started repeating videos? BTW, can anyone or everyone name all 5 of the original VJs, without cheating?

"Hangin' With Mr. Jimi" & LoveTel Bits

Sitting out in the commons room here at The LoveTel the other day I decided to go and get Tonto and play around for a few minutes between getting ice for people and whatever the hell else it is I do here. Just for the hell of it I turned my phone on it's side and let the camera run. Jimi was in a mood that day to acknowledge every single person in the parking lot. Little fat slapper.

LoveTel Bits

Had one of the regular "working" girls, whom I'll call "Mandy", come up to the counter the other night. She was wanting me to run her clothes through the dryer for her so she says to me, "Ya know, I really like to hand wash...". Now all I heard her say was, "I really like to be hand washed", to which I immediately started fumbling through my pockets and replied, "Jeez, how much will that cost me?, lemme see what I got on me". A hearty laugh was shared by all.

A rather large, slovenly, white guy was here for a week a few days back. His car was loaded down with worldly possessions much like a lot of our clientele's vehicles are. He came into the office and told me, "There's no (electrical) outlet in my room". I told him it was behind the bed and then asked him what he needed it for and he replied, "Well, ya see that big gray thing in the back seat of my car?" "That's my breathing machine for my asthma, I have to use that to help me breathe when I'M NOT SMOKING". Yeah.

Another "working" girl whom I hadn't seen before came in the other night and whispered to me, "Does the movie channel cost anything?" to which I quickly replied, "Not unless your man's wife shows up". Aww Snap!
